On December 22, 2024, Ho Chi Minh City officially commenced operation of Metro Line 1 (Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien), marking a significant milestone in the development of a modern public transportation system in the city.

The Ho Chi Minh City Urban Railway Construction Project (Ho Chi Minh City Metro) is one of the first projects in Vietnam to use our equipment rental services (alongside the Hanoi Urban Railway Project). Throughout the journey of constructing and completing this metro line, NISHIO provided essential equipment that ensured the project’s progress and quality. We are proud to have been the equipment supplier from the construction phase to the project’s completion.

List of Equipment Provided by NISHIO for the Ho Chi Minh City Metro Project

Hand Roller: Used for compacting soil and rocks during ground leveling, ensuring the stability of foundation layers.

Generator: Provided a stable and continuous power supply for construction works, especially in areas far from main power sources.

Air Compressor: Supported tasks requiring compressed air, such as drilling, excavation, and other construction activities.

Elevating Rolling Tower: Facilitated safe and efficient construction of station structures, elevated bridges, and other high-rise works.

Ride-crubber: Ride-on Scrubber: Cleans inside the metro station.

Additionally, many other devices and machinery from NISHIO have been utilized in the construction of the HCMC Metro project, including:

• Welding Machines: Used for welding, cutting, steel structure fabrication, and other construction stages.
• Tamping Rammers: Compact soil or materials to enhance durability and stabilize the project’s foundation.
• Cleaning Equipment: High-pressure washers are used for cleaning machinery, equipment, and construction areas, helping maintain a clean working environment. Shoe washing machines offer convenience for workers.
• Cooling Equipment: Air jet fans assist in ventilating tunnels and enclosed spaces, improving air circulation, reducing heat, and dispersing exhaust gases. Mobile turbine fans provide powerful suction and airflow, aiding in toxic gas removal and improving air quality.
